It is 1 year on since we posted photos about the renovation works to the Abbeyside house in Dungarvan that we were working on; it’s about time we showed the results…….
The existing 3 bedroom semi-detatched house needed to be upgraded to today’s standards, including:
- Replacing of the existing single glazed windows with new triple glazed aluminium framed (passive house standard) windows,
- Reconfiguration of the Kitchen and Dining Area, with a new triple glazed patio door to the south facing rear garden, bringing more daylight into the living spaces,
- New built-in ‘larder’ presses,
- Painting, re-decoration and new floor finished through out (including the all important ‘bottom-up’ blinds!)
